About MeJessica is a first generation college student and Latina in STEM. She graduated with her Master's degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at University of Connecticut, Storrs. Jessica is passionate about understanding how environmental factors and parasites/diseases impact organisms and biodiversity. She is currently working with the USDA investigating vector-virus interactions in biting midge systems.
